Seasons Greetings 2014

Humann Building Solutions, LLC wishes one and all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season. There are several Organizations that we need to recognize this year for their contributions to a more equitable and sustainable world.

Humann Building Solutions again stepped forward as a major differentiator in the green building and advocacy world with our ongoing support of USGBC Nevada Chapter.  Our principals are determined to make a sustainable impact for their clients, our professional expertise has contributed to numerous domestic and international High Performance Building, Sustainable and Restorative Development projects and international events. Those who chosen to work with Humann Building Solutions have seen the results of our versatile team’s abilities and know that they have found their go-to experts for their sustainability services needs.

The Nevada Chapter of the US Green Building Council (USGBC Nevada) advocates adoption of green building principles in codes, construction and education to create a sustainable culture in Nevada. In recent years the Chapter has been active regionally and Nationally to ensure that we can see green buildings for all within a generation, in alignment with the mission of USGBC.

In 2014 we were very effective at advancing the recognition of the International Living Future Institute and the Living Building Challenge. Humann Building Solutions Principal Daniel Huard, an Ambassador of ILFI recruited additional ILFI volunteer Ambassador Presenters to join in on his effort to create a day of Living Building Challenge focused training during the Green by SouthWest Regional Conference organized by Huard and Mr. Kelly Thomas, USGBC Nevada Programs Director. The Las Vegas Valley Living Building Challenge Collaborative educates and advocates for a restorative future using the worlds most stringent green building rating system the Living Building Challenge as the tool for transformative change.
